1. Go to https://aka.ms/setupsecurityinfo.
  2. Enter your username followed by @owens.edu. For example, username@owens.edu.
  3. Click Next.

  4. Enter your Owens universal password.
  5. Click Sign in.

  6. Click your Profile icon in the upper right corner.

  7. Select View account from the dropdown window.
  8. Click UPDATE INFO on the Security info window.

  9. You will receive a verification code by the security method you set up on your first login. Enter the code into the verification window.
  10. Click Verify.

  11. Select Add method.

  12. Click the down arrow.

  13. Click Email.
  14. Click Add.

  15. Enter a personal email address you would like the verification code sent to.
    Note: Do not use your Owens email address. For example, use a Gmail or Hotmail email address.
  16. Click Next.

  17. You will receive an email to the address provided with the verification code. The email will be from Microsoft on behalf of Owens Community College. It will have the subject, Owens Community College account email verification code.

  18. Enter the verification code and click Next.

  19. You will see the following window popup in the upper right corner of your screen.
