Closures will be announced on the College’s Facebook social media account and as an announcement banner on the Owens website.
Closures are also reported to local television stations.
In addition, students and employees should register for Owens Alerts through their Ozone account. The Owens Alert system is designed so enrollees can automatically receive notices by phone, email, and/or text when the College is closed due to weather or other emergencies.
