How is the money awarded and disbursed to my account for the Start Here Scholarship?

Scholarships will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility criteria. Recipients will receive an award notice from the college. 

To view your award:

1. Log into Ozone.
2. Locate the Financial Aid Summary card.
   • Click Menu

     

     in the upper left corner, then select Discover.
     Or
     Click the Discover More button at the bottom of your dashboard.
   • Search for Financial Aid Summary.
   • The Financial Aid Summary card should display in the results.
3. Verify that you are viewing the desired aid year.
4. Click on Total financial aid awarded.
   
   

   

The scholarship will be paid to the student’s account starting on the first disbursement date of each semester as listed at https://www.owens.edu/financial_aid/understanding/.
