What does an Academic Advisor do?

Academic Advisors are here to encourage and guide students to achieve their educational goals. Academic advisors can assist with the following.

• Assist with staying on track with general education requirements.

• Recommend courses based on your anticipated majors

• Assist with ensuring a student is in the correct major, given the student’s interests

• Connect students to services based on their individual needs.
