Who qualifies for the Start Here Scholarship?

To qualify for the Start Here Scholarship, a student must:

• Have earned at least nine (9) credit hours at Owens Community while in secondary school.
• Have an Owens CCP GPA of 2.75 or higher, and a HS GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Enroll in at least 12 credit hours in the summer or fall semester immediately upon graduating high school.
• Have an official high school transcript dated on or after January 1 of their senior year.
• Be an Ohio resident for the duration of the scholarship.
• Be admitted as a regular student with the intent to obtain a certificate or degree.
• Have a completed FAFSA^® on file. A completed FAFSA^® means the Student Aid Index was calculated upon submission.
