How do I join a Microsoft Teams Meeting using the desktop client?

To join a Microsoft Teams Meeting through the desktop client:

  1. Open and log into Microsoft Teams.
  2. On the menu to the left, click on the Calendar.
  3. Click on your meeting appointment to open it.
  4. Click the Join button in the upper right corner or
    click the Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link at the bottom of the appointment message.

  5. Make sure your Mic and Video are turned on.
  6. If you would like, you can change your background by selecting the Background.
  7. Click Join Now.
