What kind of assistance does Career & Transfer Services provide?

Career & Transfer Services provides a variety of services including help with career/major exploration, résumé building/review, cover letters, networking, job search strategies, interviewing/mock interviews, job negotiation, professional dress, LinkedIn, and planning for transfer.  For more information, visit www.owens.edu/career

New Category – Professional Dress
Does Owens offer any resources to help students obtain professional attire? 

Yes. Owens has a Career Closet where students can obtain free professional clothing, shoes, and accessories for job interviews, internships, presentations, employment, and more. The Career Closet is located in College Hall room 149. For more information, email connections@owens.edu or call 567-661-2275. Career & Transfer Services also partners with JCPenney twice a year for the Suit-Up event where students and alumni receive a coupon code for professional clothing, shoes, and accessories. For more information about JCPenney Suit-Up, please email careerservices@owens.edu.
